The monitoring system mainly consists of computer network subsystem (sub-center), fire alarm subsystem, video monitoring subsystem, traffic monitoring subsystem, local tunnel control subsystem, monitoring power supply system, etc. Each subsystem has its actions coordinated through software to complete detection, judgment and processing, and to realize the adjustment, control, and business management of the entire monitoring system.
The communication system mainly consists of optical fiber digital transmission system, softswitch system, tunnel emergency telephone and broadcast system, conference and television system, optical cable system, communication power system, etc. Each subsystem uses optical fiber channel to provide transmission channels for non-traffic services such as traffic communication and monitoring, data and images of toll system between facilities along the section through optical fiber digital transmission
The toll collection system mainly consists of toll station equipment and software system, entrance lane (including ETC) system, exit lane (including ETC) system, closed circuit television (CCTV) monitoring system, internal intercom and emergency alarm system, power and lightning protection system, optical cable and pipeline system, IC card and card issuing and encoding system, ETC gantry system, etc.
Power supply and distribution The power supply and distribution system is mainly composed of switchgear assembly, power cables for medium- and low-voltage equipment, generator sets, grounding systems, etc., ensuring the normal operation of electric equipment in road circuits.
By installing lighting equipment and laying power supply lines, normal power supply and lighting brightness adjustment can be achieved. Different models of lamps are equipped according to the characteristics of different tunnels, and brightness adjustment can be carried out on the basis of different brightness requirements through dimming devices.
Due to the special environment in tunnels of expressways, there are insufficient lighting, poor ventilation, and weak signals. If special events occur and are not dealt with promptly, it can result in significant losses. Therefore, tunnels also require a series of electromechanical facilities, including vehicle detectors, environmental detectors, as well as CO sensors, smoke sensors, illuminance transducer s, wind direction and speed sensors, etc.
The tunnel is equipped with complete fire-fighting facilities, including fire detectors, control equipment for fire protection, fire alarms, fire hydrants, fire extinguishers, pressurization facilities, water supply facilities, dedicated fire-fighting connecting cables and pipelines, fittings (and accessories), as well as mounting brackets, embedded auxiliary fasteners, embedded pipelines, exposed cables, and pipeline protection measures for fire-fighting facilities. They are mainly used for transmitting fire alarm signals caused by spontaneous combustion of a vehicle, accidents, or environmental factors, and for on-site handling.
